This past Friday I was honored to be one of the hosts for Mamas + Coffee Connections on Instagram. It's a super fun way to connect with other moms, learn, inspire, and ask questions.  (More info will be at the bottom)

My question for the week was-
You are a GREAT mom! What is one of the many things you do that makes you a great mom?

And I was so thrilled to see so many mom's open up and tell everyone why they are great. So I wanted to bring the same question to my blog readers!

What makes YOU a great mom?

I know that as a mom (new or seasoned) we can battle with others or even ourselves on why we should or could be better. We make a mistake or have a rough day and our minds go spinning into I'm not a good enough mom or I should be better. We are so quick to point out flaws in ourselves and others, we forget we all have so much greatness to each and every one of us.

My answer to my own question was that I feel that because I let Brynlee be little, grow, and explore on her own I find myself to be a great mom.

And I am! I think that was the best thing I could of ever done for our daughter because she is so smart, so strong, and has such a crazy personality.

In my post I learned that being a great mom comes from doing little things, like letting your children eat in the living room, or wrestling with them on the floor. To deeper things, like being present- not just physically, but emotionally and mentally.

I really enjoyed reading what other moms had to say about themselves and that it was an opportunity to show how great we all are. And I hope that you super awesome blog readers can do the same for yourself- especially on bad days. Because we all have them and we all have short comings, but always remember why you are a great mom.. because you are!
