Cheesy Garlic Chicken

There are two things in this world I strongly believe you can add to almost anything to make it 10x better - cheese and garlic. And together... magic!

Here is a cheesy garlic chicken recipe I turn to when I have no idea what to cook. Its simple and a crowd pleaser! *You can also do this recipe without cheese and it is still insanely delicious.

Ingredients:
3-4 chicken breasts
5 tbsp brown sugar - don't question it, just follow the instructions.
5-6 garlic cloves (even more if you love garlic) - minced
3 tsp olive oil
1 cup cheese of your choice- I used cheddar
Dash of salt and pepper.

Steps:
-Start preheating your oven at 375F.
-Cut any extra fat hanging around your chicken and place in a cooking dish. I like to cute my pieces in half, but you don't need to. Add salt and pepper.

-In a small frying pan cook garlic in olive oil for just a minute or two. Don't let it burn, you just wanted it cooked enough to be soft.
-Add cooked garlic to a bowl and add brown sugar and mix.

-Bonus step! Have your little child make a mess while you are trying to cook.

Seriously? Look at that smile.

-Pour half of mixed over chicken breasts and spread around to cover.

-Let chicken cook for 30 minutes (45 if they are larger pieces)
-Take chicken out and add cheese. Lets be real, you gotta smoother those bad boys! Add the rest of your garlic brown sugar mix on top.

-Stick back in over for another 10 minutes or until cheese is fully melted.
and Voila!

Tonight paired with corn and broccoli rice.
*If you do the chicken without the cheese it is really great with white rice!

See? Very simple! Hope you all enjoy on this great spin on cheesy chicken :)
