Moore to Love

6:36 AM

So the news has been broken- we are having another awesome baby!

When we found out I was pregnant with Brynlee and our secret spread like uncontrollable wild fire through our family before we were ready to let the secret out, we decided that next time around we wouldn't let that happen. We actually agreed upon not letting anyone know until we found out the gender! It was going to be top secret.

We even went as far as telling everyone we don't want anymore babies. In fact right before we officially found out I told my aunt and my grandma that we weren't thinking about having anymore. All the while I'm over here like but I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant sooo... surprise!

But then I got pregnant.

We found out the last week of May that I was expecting and we were ready to keep our mouths sealed for the long haul! Not even our parents were being told. I went to the doctor (surprisingly quick!) to get checked out (I had 2 negatives along with my positive) and found out I was indeed pregnant and about 4-5 weeks along.

A week in we were pretty much dying to tell everyone, we were just so excited! So after a lot of talk we decided at least telling our whole family on our terms and at the same time was reasonable. We snapped a picture and posted it on Brynlee's photo stream. There was a little confusion, but the news got out and we were happy to get it off our chests.

How adorable is she?!

And the one we posted last night-

The perfect announcement for the geeky family! We tried to get her to hold a wand, but she wasn't having it.

We talk a big game.

So here we are...two weeks later and the world knows.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Tim and I are like Chihuahuas, we get super excited and can't contain all the energy so we just shake!

I don't believe in the whole waiting until your second trimester to tell everyone you are pregnant. We simply wanted to wait this time because last time word got out before we were ready.

I mean, if you wait until your second trimester you miss out on three months being able to celebrate your pregnancy openly! I don't know about you all, but I LOVE being pregnant! Sickness and all- this shit is magical! Pardon my language, but I'm right, right?

Obviously, there are reasons you wait until you tell everyone. Being in the highest danger zone of miscarriage is a scary thing, but wouldn't you want to celebrate more during that time? I don't know.. I just feel like you shouldn't hide something so awesome and so wonderful. And I also think thats a lot more of an awkward conversation to have with your family if something does happen and they didn't even know you were expecting.  So celebrate guys! Enjoy that little life growing inside you!

That is just my opinion, what do I know? I just write a blog.

So there it is. Baby number 2 is on their way! It is going to be a scary, crazy, amazing new adventure and we are very excited and blessed to be able to take it.
