Catching Up With Ashley
6:28 AMI have been a little shocked with how many people have asked about my blog over the last few months. If I was still doing it, when will there be another post up, and that they actually LIKE it.
And since Bryn decided 5 am was a great time to wake up and then quickly decided she can't hang, I am wide awake and read to talk a bit! Just about what has been going on in the Moore house, because we are super exciting people. Just the other day we had an intense game of don't let the balloon touch the floor, which ended up in a couch dive (done by yours truly) And let us be honest, if there is no couch diving its not a real game. See? Exciting!
Or, not. We have actually been very busy.
Tim finally finished up this crazy semester last week! It has been very hard on all of us, but I know the most on Tim because he is gone pretty much all day and never got to see Bryn during the week.
This experience alone has been a very eye opening one. His schedule has been pretty packed since her first week of birth, so its been me and her a LOT over these last 9 months.
I've called it the part-time single mom with a side of sugar daddy, since he pays all the bills. Haha! As a family we have pulled through and we are so happy he gets to come home after work for awhile.
I started school back in April for my phlebotomy license, even though it is one day a week I'm and definitely not lacking in any homework or studying. It is a pretty difficult class and you can get dropped from it for just about everything, so I've had to be on top of my game.
And for those of you who had the pleasure of taking classes with me in high school know how unbelievably dedicated I am to procrastination. Bryn's short and few nap times have been for me to try to get through a few pages of a chapter, do some homework, and study flashcards. Plus all the house work crap that never truly gets finished. It has been a tough couple of months, but end is in sight! I am almost done!
Once that is done I will be starting to buckle down and study for my national exam and start my externship. Hopefully followed by a job!
And on top of that I started volunteering for the American Red Cross, so my in betweens are dedicated to that. And in between my in betweens I am taking a few classes through them to be able to go out of the state and COUNTRY for disaster relief. I just did a disaster training last weekend with them and man! It was so amazing!
Obviously, this does not look like much. If you don't have a baby you are probably like "girl, this is nothing." True! A year or so ago this would be nothing and I probably would have a full time job tacked on to this list, because I'm a sucker for punishment and I love being busy. But for those of you who have kids and are married or in some sort of relationship... this list is a long one. This list is a long one if you just try to add in family and social time!
I haven't even really had time to sit down, do nothing, and read a book. And that is one of my favorite things to do. Now I'll never know what happens in the fourth Harry Potter book! *insert sarcastic face here*
Eventually.. in a few months.. I'm hoping I will be able to pick up blogging a little more, but in the mean time this bad boy will sit here in the internet and collect what ever is equivalent to dust!
So thank you for the people who have asked about this! I think you guys are kind of awesome.
